The HTME-1000 module is a dedicated heating stage specifically designed for high temperature Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) analysis up to 1000 °C. It is used freestanding in any SEM, without the need for an Alemnis mechanical testing system.  It is designed for operation in vacuum and is optimized so that radiative heating of the sample is minimized at temperatures > 500°C to ensure the best possible EBSD analysis.

Compact, Simple and Retrofittable

The Alemnis HTME-1000 is the most compact heating stage. A simple and robust design allows it to be fixed on any SEM stage without modification. All vacuum feedthroughs for electrical connectors and cooling water are accommodated on a single, standard sized flange.

Smart Thermal Management

Based on extensive experience with in situ high temperature applications, the operation of the HTME-1000 is safe and reliable. The EBSD-specific thermal shielding and the active cooling system are optimized for the best image quality and detector protection.
