Rotation stage

The ASA can be fitted with a dedicated rotation stage which allows rotation of the sample in combination with lateral translation using the XY stage.

This particular example shows a rotation stage without sensors (open loop) which has infinite travel with an open loop resolution of 3 µdeg, a blocking torque of 0.5 Ncm and maximum angular velocity of 45 deg/s. It can be mounted on the Standard Load Cell (SLC) or directly onto the XY stage (in combination with MLC or Smartip).
