Check out this in-situ multicycle pillar compression test performed at -150°C using the Alemnis AG LTM-CRYO option. This test confirmed the low temperature, strain-induced martensitic transformation. The steel pillar of 50 µm in diameter was machined fast using a femtosecond laser system in a ZEISS Crossbeam 540, before final polishing with a Focused Ion Beam (FIB) giving a rapid solution for pillar preparation.
