Following our last post on the tensile strength of a 5 µm Ø copper pillar produced by additive micromanufacturing (µAM), here is an example of a cyclic fatigue test performed by Dr Johann Jakob Schwiedrzik and his team at Empa using an Alemnis AG system on a copper dogbone printed with the Exaddon CERES system.
Fatigue test was performed in true displacement control with 17 steps of 330 nm.
